II. Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is organized by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT).

1. Difficulty Levels

There are five levels:

Level A - Middle Primary: Years 3-4

Level B - Upper Primary: Years 5-6

Level C - Junior: Years 7-8

Level D - Intermediate: Years 9-10

Level E - Senior: Years 11-12

2. Exam Format

The AMC Level D-E exam lasts 75 minutes and consists of 25 multiple-choice questions and 5 fill-in-the-blank questions (answers are any integers from 0-999). The total score is 135 points.

The first 20 questions are generally very simple. The official statement also indicates that the first 20 questions are basic knowledge that everyone has learned in school. Questions 21-25 are more difficult and have higher point values. The last 26-30 are five short answer questions, which are significantly more difficult and are the key to differentiating students' mathematical talents.

III. Euclid Mathematics Contest

The Euclid Mathematics Contest is a mathematics competition held by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computing at the University of Waterloo, Canada, for high school students worldwide. It is Canada's most recognized mathematics competition and a key indicator of mathematical ability for high school students globally. Attracting over 20,000 students annually, it is highly prestigious and often referred to as the "TOEFL of mathematics."

V. SASMO Competition

The SASMO (Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad), officially known as the Singapore Advanced Mathematics Competition, was founded in 2006 by the Singapore International Mathematics Competition Centre (SIMCC). It is Asia's largest mathematics competition, open to students in grades 1-12.

Online exam, bilingual (Chinese and English), consisting of 25 questions.

3. Exam Content:

The exam consists of two parts: multiple-choice questions and short-answer questions.
